The Open Book Project hosted a raffle giving away (2) beautiful black rocking chairs. Sunni Crowe was the winner of the raffle but instead of keeping the prize for herself, she paid it forward to a young reader named Ryleigh.

"Pickens Elementary School hosted Glow and Grow Literacy Night for families to share in reading activities throughout the school. Some of the activities included a make and take area, glow in the dark reading, and literacy activities for every grade level. A special thank you goes to the Open Book Project. They were very generous and donated a book so that every child that attended could choose one to take home"
